Where were You?

Today is a day that we remember what happened 09/11/01. It does not seem like it was seven years ago. I still remember exactly where I was that day. My 7:30 Economics class had been canceled that day. I walked back to my dorm hall where I had left my TV on the Today Show. I can still see the scene on tv and the silent reporters as they had no idea what was going on. The rest of the day we were glued to the TV. Classes were canceled. We joined a large group that night at the greek theater for prayer. Life has been different since that day. We learned that we are never totally safe. For me I put a greater trust in God since man alone can't protect us from the crazy people in our world.

I hope today we will set aside our differences and remember what it is to be an American. We should unite in our fight against the terrorists that spread hate.

Well said...That feeling of unity has slipped away a little again in our country since that day. We need to be Proud to be Americans and ask God for his protection in the days ahead. If God is for us...who can be against us?

It is sad that something bad has to happen to get some people's attention.
