Too Early to Potty Train?

I am looking for some advice on a hot topic among us moms to toddlers. I know this is my second child so I should be an expert but as they say every child is different. With Logan it was a great struggle to get him interested in pottying. He was happy to wear pull ups forever. Finally, at 3 he was potty trained. Laney is more vocal than Logan was at this age. The other night she brought me her diaper and a box of wipes. I asked, "Did you poo poo?" She said very matter of factly "yes". I thought she is only 22 months old but could she be ready for the potty. I have bought pull ups and we are trying.

Do you think I am wasting my time or could she really be ready? This would be amazing if I could say bye bye to diapers forever. I would be rich.

I say go for it. You won't know till you try. See how she does in regular "big girl" underwear. I am going to be so jealous if you don't have to buy diapers anymore :)

I agree, if she seems ready, go for it! Lillian still walks around not telling me if she poops, so I'm still waiting. I told Brandon that it would be pointless until after the holidays anyway for her since we will be traveling a lot and I think that would just mess her up and be more of a pain. Good luck! I wish I could get at least one out of diapers!

Hey, it is never too early in my book...If they are willing, herd them on in there and get the show on the road. Just kidding. Sounds like you are on the right track though.
